Russia’s Defense Ministry said it carried out mass strikes overnight on October 12-13 against strategic military-industrial facilities, logistics centers, and railway and seaport infrastructure in Ukraine.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that, according to an official statement by the Russian military agency, the attacks used long-range, high-precision ground-launched weapons and kamikaze-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Moscow officials claim that a military workshop at the Pulp Mill Print printing and industrial facility in Kyiv, where missile equipment and long-range UAVs are produced, was targeted and hit.

The statement also said infrastructure at the Darnytsia locomotive depot in the Ukrainian capital was seriously damaged. The depot repairs and restores trains used to transport military and dual-use cargo, according to the statement.

Russia’s statement said a Nova Poshta logistics terminal in the settlement of Ternivka in Mykolaiv region, used to supply Ukraine’s Armed Forces and store dual-use goods, was disabled. It also said a UAV storage facility was destroyed in the settlement of Meshkovo-Pohorelovo.

Russia’s Defense Ministry also announced that a foreign dry cargo ship allegedly carrying military cargo was struck in the Bug estuary, in the Mykolaiv port complex.

The report did not include a response from Ukrainian officials or the Defense Forces to Russia’s claims.
