Road repair works continue in Baku as the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads has completed the restoration of road surfaces in two additional areas of the capital.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports this with reference to the Agency.
According to the official statement, the repair works were primarily carried out during weekends and night hours to ensure minimum disruption to general traffic flow. The latest maintenance was conducted on the overpass leading from Heydar Aliyev Avenue to Babek Avenue, as well as on Ziya Bunyadov Avenue in the direction of the "Koroglu" metro station.
The operations were executed over two nights, specifically from 23:00 to 07:00. As a result, comfortable and safe movement has been ensured in these two areas while causing minimal inconvenience to citizens. These infrastructure improvements are part of a broader initiative by the State Agency to modernize the transport network in Azerbaijan.
The modernization of road infrastructure in Baku remains a priority for the government to accommodate the growing number of vehicles in the capital. By focusing on high-traffic corridors like Heydar Aliyev Avenue and Ziya Bunyadov Avenue, the authorities aim to reduce congestion and enhance the overall efficiency of the city's logistical framework, supporting both public transit and private commuting.
