Real Madrid have identified a potential replacement for Germany defender Antonio Rudiger.
“Operative Information Center-OMM”, citing the MadridistaHoy publication, reports that the club’s plan includes recalling academy graduate Jacobo Ramon.
The 21-year-old Spaniard has played for Italy’s Como since summer 2025 and is regarded as Real Madrid’s main transfer target to replace Rudiger.
Ramon’s statistics this season
Ramon has made six appearances in all competitions this season and scored one goal.
The defender’s contract with Como runs until summer 2030.
The Transfermarkt portal values the Spanish defender at 45 million euros.
Real Madrid were previously reported to have no intention of extending the contract of the 33-year-old Rudiger.
Ramon came through Real Madrid’s youth system before continuing his development in senior football. A return to the Spanish club would provide an internal option as it assesses its defensive squad for the coming seasons.
