Rain recorded in parts of Azerbaijan as temperatures fall

Weather in Azerbaijan was mostly dry, but intermittent rain fell overnight and in the morning in some eastern districts.

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that the National Hydrometeorological Service provided the information as of 9 a.m. on October 6.

Rainfall totals were 7 mm in Astara; 5 mm in Jalilabad, Lankaran and Lerik; 2 mm in Salyan and Neftchala; and up to 1 mm in Bilasuvar, Guba, Sabirabad, Zardab and Hajigabul, as well as in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula.

The National Hydrometeorological Service issues regular weather updates based on observations from monitoring stations across Azerbaijan. Rainfall totals indicate the amount recorded at each location during the specified observation period.
