Qarabagh FK has learned its opponent for the first qualifying round of the 2026/2027 UEFA Europa League season. The Azerbaijani club is set to face the Icelandic side Vestri, according to the Operative Information Center-OMM.
The official draw ceremony took place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, determining the initial matchups for the competition.
The first qualifying round matches are scheduled to take place on July 9 and July 16. The team, managed by head coach Gurban Gurbanov, will play the first leg of the tie away in Iceland.
Qarabagh, based in the city of Aghdam, has consistently represented Azerbaijan in European club competitions over the past decade. The club is widely recognized for its regular participation in the group stages of UEFA tournaments, including the Champions League and Europa League, and remains a dominant force in the Azerbaijan Premier League.
