President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to His Majesty Philippe, King of the Belgians, on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Belgium.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the message states:
"Your Majesty,
On the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Belgium, I extend my sincere congratulations to you and, through you, to your entire people on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
On this significant day, I convey my best wishes to you and wish the people of Belgium lasting peace and prosperity."
Azerbaijan and Belgium maintain diplomatic relations characterized by cooperation in various sectors, including energy and trade. The two nations have actively engaged in dialogue to strengthen bilateral ties since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992.
