President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to his Croatian counterpart, Zoran Milanovic, on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the message reads:
"Dear Mr. President,
On the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Croatia – Statehood Day, I extend my most sincere congratulations to you and your people on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
The relations of friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Croatia have good traditions. I believe that we will continue to successfully pursue our joint efforts toward continuing our constructive dialogue, strengthening our bilateral relations, and expanding our cooperation for the prosperity of our peoples.
On this festive day, I wish you good health, success in your activities, and the friendly people of Croatia lasting peace and prosperity."
Azerbaijan and Croatia have maintained diplomatic relations since the early 1990s, characterized by mutual respect and growing cooperation in energy and economic sectors. The two nations frequently exchange high-level visits to strengthen their strategic partnership within the framework of European and regional cooperation.
