President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree awarding employees of the Azerbaijan Metrology Institute, a public legal entity under the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control, with the "Taraggi" (Progress) medal.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the honors were bestowed for significant contributions to the development of metrology in Azerbaijan. According to the decree, the following employees were awarded the "Taraggi" medal:

- Aziz Mahammad oglu Azizov
- Ramiz Garoghlan oglu Hasanov
- Azer Tengiz oglu Gurbanov
- Shahla Ziyaddin gizi Musayeva
- Chingiz Masim oglu Osmanov
- Namiq Pasha oglu Shirinov
- Mehriban Ramiz gizi Shirinova
