The composition of the Supervisory Board of AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company has been changed.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed an order to this effect.
Under the order, an amendment was made to the first part of the order dated Feb. 22, 2021, approving the composition of the Supervisory Board of AzerGold Closed Joint-Stock Company.
Under the amendment, the name of Mehman Ismayilov, listed as a member of the Supervisory Board, was replaced with the name of Gunduz Aliyev.
Gunduz Aliyev has therefore joined AzerGold’s Supervisory Board as a representative of the Financial Services and State-Owned Enterprises Policy Department of the Office of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
AzerGold is a state-owned company involved in the exploration, development and management of Azerbaijan’s gold and other precious-metal deposits. Its Supervisory Board oversees the company’s strategic activities and corporate governance.
