Qarabag midfielder Pedro Bicalho has shared his views on the progress of the season and the team’s plans ahead.
He said the team was improving with every match: “I think we are developing as a team in every game, getting better and growing.”
The Portuguese midfielder noted that competition in the Premier League has intensified year by year. According to him, this trend has made matches more interesting and competitive.
Pedro Bicalho said the break for national team matches had benefited Qarabag. He noted that many new players had joined the team and said the break had provided a useful opportunity for the squad to get to know one another better.
The Qarabag player said he expected the match against Imishli in the seventh round to be difficult and competitive.
Assessing his individual performance, Bicalho said: “I am not satisfied with my performance because I could not help our team qualify for European competitions. But I can say with complete confidence that the Pedro who played excellent football last season will return!”
The break in domestic competition for national team fixtures is commonly used by clubs to integrate new players, refine tactics and prepare for the next phase of the season. Qarabag’s upcoming league fixture against Imishli will therefore provide another opportunity for the team to build cohesion and maintain its progress.
