Barcelona captain and midfielder Pedri shared his views ahead of the Champions League league-phase third-round match against PSG. The game in Paris kicks off at 22:00 Moscow time on October 20.
Pedri said that, given both teams’ styles of play, the match would be one of the most appealing to watch. He stressed that Barcelona are in good form and confident.
“Given the way both teams play football, this is one of the best matches you can watch, perhaps the most exciting. We are in good form and believe in ourselves. Our opponent is very tough, but we have come here with only one goal — to win.
I expect a great battle in midfield. Both teams’ midfields have more difficulty when playing without the ball. So the side that has possession will have the advantage. If I get the chance to play, I will do everything I can to win,” UEFA’s official website quoted Pedri as saying.
