Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government meeting that he aims to complete the process of signing and ratifying a peace agreement with Azerbaijan by 2031.

The Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Pashinyan described the agreement’s entry into full legal force as one of the top priorities of both the Armenian government and his personal political agenda.

“I have set a specific goal and timeline for myself: to complete this process by 2031. Naturally, this is a key task for the government and our political team as a whole. As prime minister, I also consider it exceptionally important to my personal agenda,” Pashinyan said.

The Armenian prime minister added that he believes all the necessary prerequisites are in place to achieve the goal, saying he would not have raised the matter in these terms otherwise.
