Pakistan Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif called Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

During the phone call, the sides expressed satisfaction with the development of friendly, fraternal and strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. They noted the role of regular high-level meetings and consultations in further strengthening bilateral ties.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated that the people of Pakistan hold President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan in high regard.
The sides stressed the importance of complementing the strong political ties with expanded cooperation in economic, trade and investment fields.
Pakistan’s prime minister expressed satisfaction with the operation of a service center established in Islamabad on the basis of Azerbaijan’s “ASAN Service” model and asked Azerbaijan to support the model’s introduction in other parts of Pakistan.
President Ilham Aliyev agreed to provide the necessary support in this regard.
Pakistan’s prime minister thanked the Azerbaijani president for the offer, describing Azerbaijan’s support as another clear example of the friendship and solidarity between the countries.
During the phone call, the sides praised Pakistan’s recent diplomatic efforts to promote dialogue, mediation and de-escalation at regional and international levels.
The Azerbaijani president and Pakistan’s prime minister also exchanged views on bilateral and multilateral issues, as well as the regional and international situation.
