At least 18 Iranian servicemen have been killed following Israeli airstrikes targeting the Mazandaran province in northern Iran. According to reports from the Tasnim news agency, the strikes caused significant casualties among military personnel stationed in the region.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that additional strikes were carried out against a military airbase in Kerman, located in southeastern Iran. These operations reportedly resulted in the deaths of at least 13 more soldiers, bringing the total confirmed military death toll to over 30.
The escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions and a series of reciprocal military actions between Israel and Iran. Mazandaran and Kerman are strategically significant locations, housing various military installations and airbases.
