Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman has sent a congratulatory letter to President Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the message reads:
"Your Excellency, it gives me great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Taking this opportunity, I wish you good health and happiness, and the friendly people of Azerbaijan continued progress, peace, and prosperity."
Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Oman have been steadily developing, characterized by mutual respect and cooperation within international organizations, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Both nations have consistently sought to strengthen bilateral ties, focusing on areas of mutual interest such as economic cooperation, cultural exchange, and regional stability, reflecting the growing importance of Azerbaijan's engagement with Gulf nations.
