"Niko Şlotterbek"in yeni müqaviləsi: "Real" və "Bavariya" üçün xüsusi şərt

Germany national team and Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck has signed a new contract with his club, though the agreement does not necessarily guarantee a long-term stay. Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the new deal includes a specific clause regarding the player's future career path.

According to reports, the contract features a release clause valued between 50 and 60 million euros, which is applicable only to a limited number of elite clubs. This condition is set to become active as early as this summer, providing a potential exit route for the highly-rated center-back.

Schlotterbeck has reportedly identified Bayern Munich and Real Madrid as his preferred destinations. The release clause is believed to be specifically tailored for such top-tier teams. The current situation regarding these clubs is as follows:

  • Real Madrid has repeatedly expressed interest in the German defender as they look to bolster their backline.
  • Bayern Munich appears less inclined to pursue the transfer following Dayo Upamecano's contract renewal. Furthermore, club official Max Eberl is reportedly not fully convinced of Schlotterbeck's qualities.

While the defender was awaiting concrete offers from leading European clubs, the lack of official bids led him to extend his stay with Borussia Dortmund. However, by including this strategic clause, he has effectively kept the door open for a future high-profile move. Borussia Dortmund, one of Germany's most successful football clubs, is known for developing world-class talent and often utilizes such contractual structures to balance player retention with market value realization.
