President Ilham Aliyev today signed an order appointing judges to courts of first instance.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that among them is Ali Alizade, the brother of Yuksal Alizade, who was killed in the Patriotic War.
Ali Alizade has been appointed a judge at the Shamkir District Court.
Yuksal Alizade was also a lawyer. He worked as a senior specialist at the Ganja Administrative-Economic Court and the Ganja City Prosecutor’s Office.
Their late father, Ilgar Aliyev, also worked for the prosecutor’s office.
Yuksal Alizade was killed in fighting in the Khojavend area on November 9, 2020. He was buried at the Martyrs’ Alley in Ganja on November 20.
He was posthumously awarded the medals “For the Motherland,” “For distinction in battle,” “For the liberation of Khojavend” and “For the liberation of Fuzuli.”
