During the call, both leaders reached an agreement on the vital importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy to reduce regional tensions and restore lasting peace and stability.
The parties specifically emphasized their joint commitment to ensuring safe and free navigation through the strategically significant Strait of Hormuz. Furthermore, India reaffirmed its support for Oman's sovereignty and territorial integrity, expressing gratitude for the Sultanate's efforts in ensuring the safe return of thousands of individuals, including Indian citizens, during regional crises.
Relations between India and Oman have historically been characterized by strong maritime trade links and strategic partnership.
