According to “Operative Information Center-OMM”, the incident took place at the start of the race.
On the approach to Turn 2, a car driven by Invicta Racing’s Rafael Câmara collided with the vehicle of Prema Racing driver Mari Boya.
A yellow flag was subsequently raised, and Boya had to retire from the race.
The Baku Grand Prix is scheduled to conclude on Sept. 26.
