Manchester United interim manager Michael Carrick has addressed the situation regarding Marcus Rashford, who is currently on loan at Barcelona.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing foreign media, reports that despite the English forward's consistent performances in La Liga, the Catalan club has not yet moved to exercise its purchase option. This delay has fueled speculation regarding the attacker's potential return to England.

Carrick commented on the matter, stating:

"I think when the time comes, decisions must be made on certain matters. That is the case with Marcus. However, nothing is settled at the moment. A decision will be made because it has to happen at some point, but at this stage, there is nothing more to say."

The manager further emphasized his commitment to developing the talent within the club's reach. "From my position, regardless of who I work with, I want to get the most out of them and help them improve. This is the squad we have at the moment, but we also have players out on loan. Time will tell what happens with them," he added.

Marcus Rashford, a prominent product of the Manchester United youth academy, joined Barcelona on a temporary basis to secure more regular first-team football. His stint in Spain has been closely watched by scouts and fans alike, as the forward has shown glimpses of the form that made him a key figure for both club and country. Manchester United, currently navigating a period of tactical adjustment, continues to monitor its loanees as part of a broader strategy to strengthen the squad for future domestic and European campaigns.
