Inter Miami’s Argentine forward Lionel Messi has selected 10 young footballers to be featured in 2026 as part of Adidas’ “Messi +10” campaign.
The male players are Tomas Aranda of Boca Juniors, Max Dowman of Arsenal, Zavier Gozo of Crystal Palace, Jesus Rodriguez of Como, Kees Smit of AZ, Gilberto Mora of Tijuana and Can Uzun of Eintracht Frankfurt.
The women’s list includes Chelsea player Chloe Sarwie, Giovanna Waksman, who plays for Lyon, and Lotta Wrede of Hamburg. The selected players are aged 16 to 20.
Marca reports that Adidas is presenting this generation under the slogan “The next chapter starts here,” with Messi as the campaign’s main figure. The publication notes that this is not an official ranking, but a selection of young talents as part of an advertising campaign.
Messi has previously taken part in Adidas campaigns highlighting promising footballers. He selected Aleksei Miranchuk in 2015 and Nadezhda Karpova in 2016.
