Atlanta United hosted Inter Miami in the latest round of MLS. The match at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta ended in a 3-1 win for the visitors.
Herman Berterame opened the scoring in the 45th minute. Lionel Messi struck in the 56th and 60th minutes to complete his brace. Fafa Picault scored Atlanta United’s only goal in the 89th minute. Luis Suárez provided assists for two of Inter Miami’s goals.
Russian midfielder Aleksey Miranchuk, who started for Atlanta United, played the full match.
Atlanta United will face Chicago Fire on October 25, while Inter Miami will take on the New York Red Bulls on the same day.
