PSG beat Strasbourg 3-1 away in the seventh round of the French league. The match, played on October 17, kicked off at 18:15 Moscow time.
Reyna opened the scoring for the hosts in the 17th minute. For PSG, Illia Zabarnyi scored in the 77th minute, Ousmane Dembele in the 85th and Doue in the 90+3rd.
Le Parisien criticized Georgia national team forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The newspaper wrote that, although an active performance had been expected after he was left on the bench against Manchester City, he gave the impression of having little desire to get involved. Kvaratskhelia lost possession in the build-up to Strasbourg’s opening goal, looked subdued and, despite receiving the ball frequently, rarely got past opponents or created dangerous chances.
Kvaratskhelia started the match, did not register a goal or assist and was substituted in the 63rd minute. Dembele, who came on in his place, failed to convert a penalty in the 72nd minute. The French player later assisted Zabarnyi’s goal and scored his team’s second.
