Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has been named Europe’s best player by French publication Onze Mondial. The 27-year-old received 48.2% of the vote in the poll based on the 2025/26 season.
Mbappe scored 40 goals for his club that season. He won the award, which has been presented since 1976, for the first time in his career. The French forward had finished third in the poll three times in previous years.
Paris Saint-Germain players took second and third place in the vote. Midfielder Joao Neves finished second with 11.9%, while winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia placed third with 10.8%.
Last year, the award went to another PSG player, Ousmane Dembele. Lionel Messi holds the record, having won it four times.
