French law enforcement authorities have closed a case over Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe’s allegation of “moral harassment” against his former club, PSG, Mundo Deportivo reported. The decision was made due to insufficient evidence.
According to the report, Mbappe did not pursue his complaint. His lawyers initially filed it and later withdrew it. The investigation was closed in May 2026.
Mbappe filed a complaint against PSG last year over events at the start of the 2022/2023 season. After refusing to sign a new contract, the forward was excluded from training with the first team.
The French club took the measure in an effort to persuade the player to sign a new contract.
