Three clubs in contention
Manchester United are reportedly leading the race to sign the player. Liverpool and London club Chelsea are also interested in Mitchell.
Earlier reports said that Juventus of Turin also wanted to sign the 25-year-old defender. The potential deal is valued at between 23 million and 28 million euros.
Mitchell’s season statistics
Mitchell has made five appearances in the English Premier League this season and scored two goals. The defender’s contract with Crystal Palace expires next summer.
