Lukaşenko: "Avropa xoşbəxtliyinin harada olduğunu anlayıb"
Belarusian leader emphasizes that Europe's future is linked to Russia and Belarus

European nations are beginning to understand the necessity of re-evaluating their positions regarding Russia and Belarus, according to the Belarusian leadership.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko made these remarks in a statement to the BelTA news agency's Telegram channel. Lukashenko noted that he is pleased to see Europe finally recognizing where its true interests and strategic advantages are located.

"We do not often highlight this, but frankly, I am glad that Europe has finally understood where its happiness lies," Lukashenko stated. "Long before the problems they currently face emerged, I openly said that Europe's place is with us, with Russia. This is our common home, and happiness should be sought here."

The Belarusian leader's comments come amid a complex geopolitical landscape in Eastern Europe. Historically, Belarus has maintained a Union State relationship with Russia, emphasizing deep economic, military, and political integration. In recent years, official Minsk has frequently called for a shift away from Western-centric policies toward a more integrated Eurasian security and economic framework, arguing that regional stability depends on cooperation between the European Union and the post-Soviet space.
