Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who is visiting Tehran, met his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi.
“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that talks between the foreign ministers of the two countries have begun.
Lavrov’s visit to Tehran aims to continue consultations between Tehran and Moscow, monitor the implementation of bilateral agreements and exchange views on regional and international developments.
Lavrov is also scheduled to meet Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
