Kreml: Avropanın Moskva ilə dialoq çağırışları hələlik praktik addımlara çevrilməyib

The Kremlin has stated that while it is monitoring calls from European politicians regarding the restoration of dialogue with Moscow, these sentiments have yet to be accompanied by concrete political actions.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, this assessment was provided by Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov in a statement to the RIA Novosti news agency.

Peskov noted that discussions regarding the normalization of relations with Russia are taking place in several European countries, including Germany. However, he emphasized that these declarations have not yet resulted in significant shifts in the foreign policy courses of those nations.

The Kremlin spokesperson reiterated that Russia remains open to dialogue aimed at restoring relations with European countries. He added that during any future negotiations, Moscow would take past experiences into account.

It should be noted that recent reports from The Times suggested a potential shift in Germany's approach toward dialogue with Russia, with discussions reportedly underway regarding the establishment of communication channels. Relations between Russia and the European Union have remained strained since the onset of the conflict in Ukraine, leading to a series of sanctions and the freezing of high-level diplomatic engagements.
