Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany has commented on midfielder Jamal Musiala’s injury situation. The Germany international left the national team camp early during the previous international break after suffering a muscle injury.
Kompany said he understood the difficulties Musiala was facing and had often dealt with similar situations himself during his career. Overcoming such challenges requires great strength, he said. The Bayern coach added that he hoped Musiala would be able to play without injuries or other setbacks in the coming years.
The Belgian coach noted that making a strong return after an injury stays with a player for life. He said the team was always delighted by Musiala’s goals and had no doubt the midfielder would continue scoring.
