The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted a series of overnight airstrikes across southern and eastern Lebanon, targeting strategic facilities and high-ranking commanders of the Hezbollah organization.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the IDF released official details regarding the precision operation.

According to the military statement, the strikes in Southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley successfully neutralized rocket launch systems, weapon depots, and various military infrastructures belonging to the group. The IDF further confirmed that in the town of Majdal Selim, the operation specifically targeted several commanders of Hezbollah's elite Radvan unit, resulting in the destruction of two buildings utilized by the force.

Intelligence reports indicate that the neutralized Radvan commanders were actively involved in planning and executing attacks against Israeli military personnel and civilians. The Radvan Force is considered Hezbollah's most capable offensive unit, trained for cross-border incursions and specialized warfare.

This escalation comes amid heightened regional tensions following months of cross-border fire. The Bekaa Valley, a known Hezbollah stronghold in eastern Lebanon, serves as a critical logistical hub for the group's long-range missile capabilities. International observers note that the frequency of such precision strikes has increased as the Israeli military seeks to degrade Hezbollah's command structure and push its elite forces away from the border areas to ensure the safety of northern communities.
