The Israeli military has conducted a series of intensive airstrikes on the Dahiyeh district in southern Beirut, a known stronghold of the Hezbollah movement. According to reports, the strikes specifically targeted and destroyed the building housing the Al-Manar TV channel, which is affiliated with Hezbollah.

Operative Information Center-OMM, citing Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA), reports that the Israeli Air Force launched multiple waves of attacks starting from the early morning hours, hitting various strategic points within the Dahiyeh area. The destruction of the media outlet's headquarters marks a significant escalation in the targeting of infrastructure linked to the group's communication network.

In response to the aerial bombardment, Hezbollah announced that it had carried out a retaliatory military operation. The group stated that it targeted radar installations and command rooms at Israel's Ramat David airbase, located in the northern part of the country, using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Meanwhile, the Israeli military confirmed that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and neutralized two drones launched from Lebanese territory.

The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has intensified significantly in recent months, leading to frequent cross-border fire and airstrikes. This escalation is part of a broader regional tension that has seen increased military activity across the Middle East. International observers have expressed concern over the rising civilian toll and the potential for the localized conflict to expand into a full-scale regional war, as diplomatic efforts to broker a ceasefire continue to face significant hurdles.
