Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has published the Persian-language text of a memorandum of understanding reportedly signed between the United States and Iran.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that Pezeshkian shared the document on his X (formerly Twitter) account, stating that the memorandum reflects the position of the Iranian people.
According to the Iranian leader, the document represents the voice of a nation that refuses to compromise its dignity and independence in the face of threats and pressure. Pezeshkian emphasized that the memorandum is the result of national loyalty, political rationality, and responsible diplomacy.
"What is recorded today is the result of national loyalty, political rationality, and responsible diplomacy," the Iranian president wrote in his statement.
The image of the document shared by Pezeshkian notably includes signatures attributed to US President Donald Trump and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The involvement of multiple international figures in this document has drawn significant attention, as diplomatic relations between Tehran and Washington have historically been characterized by high tension and a lack of direct formal agreements.
