İranın uran proqramı haqqında: "Bu, məzara gedəcək xəyaldır"

The Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and head of the Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, has stated that the country's adversaries will never be able to halt Tehran's uranium enrichment activities.

Operative Information Center-OMM reports that ISNA quoted his remarks regarding the ongoing international pressure on Iran's nuclear sector.

"The claims and demands of rivals aimed at limiting Iran's enrichment program are simply dreams that will be taken to the grave," Eslami said. According to the official, the actions taken by the United States and Israel against Iran have yielded no results, leading them to seek concessions from Tehran through diplomatic negotiations instead.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions and long-standing concerns from the international community regarding the scale of Iran's nuclear ambitions. While Tehran maintains that its nuclear program is intended solely for peaceful purposes, such as energy production and medical research, Western powers and Israel have frequently raised alarms over the potential for weapons-grade enrichment. The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), which originally sought to limit these activities, has remained in a state of uncertainty following the withdrawal of the US in 2018 and subsequent escalations in enrichment levels by Iran.
