President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has called President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian.

Aliyev congratulated President Masoud Pezeshkian on his birthday and wished him strong health, a long life and success in his activities.
The Iranian president thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and congratulations.
During the telephone conversation, the heads of state recalled with satisfaction their most recent meeting in Bishkek and the issues discussed there.
The parties noted that a delegation of the Government of Azerbaijan is currently visiting Iran, where discussions are being held on issues on the agenda of bilateral relations.
