Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, has shared a video from the first day of his visit to the liberated territories with representatives of the diplomatic corps.
Operative Information Center-OMM reports that the presidential aide said diplomats visited Shusha and Khankendi on the first day of the trip.
“The delegation is currently continuing its visit in the direction of Aghdara and Kalbajar,” he said.
Visits by diplomatic representatives to Azerbaijan’s liberated territories provide an opportunity to observe reconstruction projects and the restoration of infrastructure on the ground. Azerbaijan has been carrying out large-scale rebuilding efforts in the region since restoring control over the territories.
