Folarin Balogun "Monako"nu tərk edə bilər: 50 milyon avroluq transfer gözlənilir

Folarin Balogun, the 24-year-old striker for the US national team and AS Monaco, is reportedly nearing a potential career move away from the French club. According to Operative Information Center-OMM, citing reports from The Athletic, the forward is seriously considering an exit at the end of the current season.

Balogun has drawn significant attention due to his standout performances in the ongoing World Cup. By scoring a brace in the 4-1 victory against Paraguay, he became the first American player since 1930 to score twice in a single World Cup match. Additionally, he was named player of the match in the 2-0 win over Australia after providing a decisive assist.

Although Balogun's contract with AS Monaco runs until the summer of 2028, there are currently no active negotiations regarding an extension. Sources indicate that the French club is aiming to secure a transfer fee of approximately 50 million euros for the player.

This valuation represents a significant increase over the amount paid for the striker's transfer in 2023. Balogun established himself as one of the most dangerous attackers in Ligue 1 last season, netting 13 goals in 30 appearances. His recent international success has further intensified interest from top European clubs, particularly those in the English Premier League.

The transfer market for elite strikers remains highly competitive, and Balogun's versatility and recent form make him a prime target for clubs looking to bolster their offensive lines ahead of the upcoming season.
