Five Palestinians were killed and others wounded in two Israeli drone strikes targeting groups of civilians in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to medical sources cited by Anadolu Agency.
Four people were killed and five wounded in a strike near Haidar Roundabout in western Gaza City, the sources said. Another person was killed and others wounded in a strike on a gathering in the Tuffah neighbourhood in eastern Gaza City.
The attacks come as Israel continues daily strikes despite a ceasefire that has been in effect since October 10, 2025.
More than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 175,000 injured in Israel’s war in Gaza since October 2023, according to Palestinian figures.
Those figures also say about 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been destroyed.
