A total of 84 people who were wanted were detained yesterday.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs told “Operative Information Center-OMM”.
It said 61 people wanted as debtors were detained yesterday and handed over to the relevant authorities.
Police detained seven people wanted on suspicion of fraud during operational measures on October 9 and handed them over to investigators.
Wanted notices may be issued for people sought in criminal investigations as well as for those required by authorities in connection with outstanding debts. The ministry’s statement gave figures for both categories but did not provide further details about the cases.
