Casualties reported in central Gaza and Gaza City

One person was killed and 10 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle in Al-Hawouz, in central Gaza, south of Deir al-Balah, the medical sources said.

Another five people were wounded, including one who was in critical condition, when Israeli shelling struck near the Engineers Syndicate headquarters in northwest Gaza City, they added.

Shelling, gunfire and demolitions reported

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli artillery shelled eastern areas of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp and southern parts of Khan Younis, according to eyewitnesses.

Witnesses also reported that Israeli military vehicles fired toward southern and eastern areas of Khan Younis and northern Beit Lahia. Naval vessels fired toward the coastlines of Rafah and Gaza City.

Local sources said the Israeli army also carried out extensive demolitions of buildings and facilities in eastern Gaza City.
