The city of Nizhnekamsk in the Republic of Tatarstan was subjected to an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack early this morning.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the press service of Tatarstan's head, Rustam Minnikhanov, confirmed the incident.

Official statements indicate that the attack caused damage to both industrial and civilian infrastructure. Authorities have characterized the incident as a "hostile and brutal UAV attack" and confirmed that there have been casualties, though official figures regarding the exact number of fatalities and injuries are still being verified.

Unconfirmed reports from the "Shot" Telegram channel suggest that the attack resulted in 10 deaths and 15 injuries. These figures have not yet been officially corroborated by regional authorities.

This incident marks a continuation of intensified drone activity across various regions of Russia in recent days. Just one day prior, strikes on the city of Belgorod reportedly resulted in six deaths, while an attack on an enterprise in the city of Shebekino left three people injured. Such strikes have become a recurring feature of the ongoing conflict, highlighting the increasing vulnerability of industrial hubs far from the immediate front lines to long-range aerial threats.
