Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice assessed Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane’s chances of winning the Ballon d’Or in an interview with TNT Sports. He said the England international’s statistics speak for themselves.
“He definitely should win the award. His statistics say it all, and he has had an incredible year,” Rice said.
Rice said playing alongside Kane makes it clear how good a footballer he is, while facing him as an opponent shows how difficult he is to play against.
Rice called Kane an “extraordinary footballer” and said he was fortunate to have the chance to play on the same team as him, but felt less fortunate when facing him as an opponent.
