China says it will continue efforts to restore peace in the Middle East

“The Chinese government will work with relevant parties to help restore peace in the Middle East.”

“Operative Information Center-OMM” reports that Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning made the remarks while responding to US President Donald Trump’s comments that China and Russia were not helping Iran.

“The Chinese side has repeatedly stated its position on relevant issues. We will continue to make constructive efforts with relevant parties and the international community to restore peace and stable development in the Middle East,” she said.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said he was certain that Russia and China were not supporting Iran. He also said the two countries had much to lose.
