A tragic incident has occurred in the Buzovna settlement of the Khazar district in Baku, where the body of an individual was discovered in the Caspian Sea. The location was identified as an uncontrolled area, situated approximately 2 kilometers from the nearest designated rescue station.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) issued an official statement regarding the incident.

Following the report, diver-rescuers from the State Service for Control over Small Vessels and Water Rescue were immediately deployed to the scene to conduct search and recovery operations. The divers successfully recovered the body of Seymur Sadiq oglu Allahverdiyev, born in 1996, and handed it over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations frequently reminds citizens of the dangers associated with swimming in uncontrolled areas, particularly those outside the jurisdiction of official rescue stations. The Caspian Sea, while a popular destination for residents and tourists in Azerbaijan, can present unpredictable currents and hazards, leading authorities to emphasize the importance of adhering to safety regulations and utilizing designated beaches where professional lifeguards are present.
