Barcelona targets Luis Suarez for winter transfer window

Barcelona have expanded their list of possible new signings for the January transfer window.

“Operative Information Center-OMM”, citing foreign media reports, says Colombia and Sporting Lisbon forward Luis Suarez has been included on Barcelona’s shortlist.

The 28-year-old forward has played for the Lisbon club since last summer. His current contract with Sporting runs until the end of June 2030.

Transfermarkt values the player at 30 million euros. Luis Suarez has made seven appearances in the Portuguese league this season and scored six goals.

Barcelona regularly assess attacking options during the winter transfer window, when clubs can reinforce their squads midway through the season. Any potential move would depend on negotiations between the clubs and the player’s contractual terms.
