Barcelona set to keep €500 million release clause for Marc Bernal

Barcelona is preparing to continue its partnership with talented midfielder Marc Bernal. The parties are expected to sign a long-term contract with the 19-year-old that will run until 2031.

"Operative Information Center-OMM", citing Mundo Deportivo, reports that Bernal’s new contract will retain his release clause at €500 million.

A product of Barcelona’s academy, Marc Bernal has played for the first team since 2024. His current contract expires at the end of June 2029.

Transfermarkt values the 19-year-old midfielder at €30 million.
