Baku student attempts suicide by jumping from school building

M.N., born in 2014 and a resident of the Bakikhanov settlement in Baku’s Sabunchu district, attempted suicide today by jumping from the second floor of School No. 94, where she studies.

The Operative Information Center-OMM, citing APA, reports that psychotropic drugs were found in the child’s bag.

According to the school director, an ambulance was called to the school for the girl three or four times over the past month.

According to information she shared with a friend, she said that between September 10 and 15 her uncle had attempted to abuse her.

M.N. is currently at the Sabunchu Medical Center, and her condition is assessed as moderately serious.
