The movement patterns of several bus routes in Baku will be temporarily changed on May 3 in connection with the "Baku Marathon 2026" event. According to the restrictions applied to vehicle movement, the routes for buses 1, 2, 4, 7A, 7B, 10, 11, 13, 20, 21, 24, 30, 32, 36, 38, 46, 49, 71, 72, 88A, 93, 120, 120E, 125, 145, 177, 184, E1, H1, and M8 will be temporarily modified.
The Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport provided this information to the Operative Information Center-OMM. According to the agency, route 1 (heading toward "Neftchilar" metro station) and route H1 (heading toward Heydar Aliyev International Airport) will operate via Azadlig Avenue – Fizuli Street – Rashid Behbudov Street – Suleyman Rahimov Street – Khatai Avenue – and the main traffic part of Heydar Aliyev Avenue. Route 2 will travel via Rashid Behbudov Street – Suleyman Rahimov Street – Khatai Avenue – Ahmad bey Agaoglu Street – Tabriz Street – and Ahmad Rajabli Street. Routes 4, 10, and 88A will have their final stops at Dilara Aliyeva and 28 May streets (Samad Vurgun Garden), operating partially as they will not enter Baku White City.
