The movement schemes for regular bus routes 32 and 120 in Baku are being modified to improve public transport efficiency. Starting tomorrow, these routes will no longer operate along Kovkab Safaraliyeva Street, shifting instead to Pushkin Street, where dedicated bus lanes are available.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, the Azerbaijan Yerüstü Nəqliyyat Agentliyi (AYNA), under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, stated that heavy traffic congestion on Kovkab Safaraliyeva Street has frequently led to increased intervals between buses. The transition to Pushkin Street is expected to prevent delays and ensure the regular operation of these routes.

In recent years, Azerbaijan has been implementing a comprehensive transport optimization strategy in Baku to reduce traffic congestion and promote the use of public transit. The introduction of dedicated bus lanes on major thoroughfares like Pushkin Street is a key component of this initiative, aimed at prioritizing high-capacity vehicles over private cars. These measures align with the government's broader goals to modernize the capital's infrastructure and enhance urban mobility for residents and visitors alike.
