The Press and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in collaboration with the Media Development Agency, has conducted a specialized training session for media representatives. The event aimed to strengthen the professional relationship between the military and the press while ensuring accurate reporting on defense-related matters.

According to the Operative Information Center-OMM, citing the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Anar Eyvazov, the head of the Press and Public Relations Department and spokesperson for the ministry, briefed participants on the Ministry of Defense's Communication Strategy. The training covered critical topics including information security, the protection of state secrets, combating disinformation, and crisis communication. Participants also gained theoretical knowledge in army-society relations, public diplomacy, and military ethics.

Following the theoretical sessions, media representatives visited various military units of the Land Forces, Air Force, and Navy. They observed the daily activities of personnel and were briefed on the modern weaponry and combat equipment currently in the arsenal of the Azerbaijan Army. The program concluded with a Q&A session and the presentation of certificates to the participants.

In recent years, the Ministry of Defense has prioritized proactive communication to counter misinformation and ensure that the public is accurately informed about the country's defense capabilities and military reforms.
